I haven't spent my entire career in financial services, which I believe helps me better understand my clients' perspectives. After leaving the military, I became a senior stylist, then worked as a mortgage adviser. Several years ago, I chose to specialise in equity release—one of the best decisions I've made.
When my family were exploring equity release to help with retirement income, this sparked my interest. Whilst researching I found the motivations for people varied significantly and was somewhat confusing. That’s why I’m now passionate about cutting through the noise and providing straightforward, honest advice to help families make informed decisions.
I’m really proud to have won a "Best Service Award" in 2024 – it reflects my commitment to great service and happy clients. On a personal note, I’m also chuffed to have run a marathon in under 4 hours, with a time of 3 hours and 53 minutes.
When I’m not advising on equity release, I play chess, which keeps my problem-solving sharp. I’m happily married (which might surprise some considering the chess) and enjoy early morning walks with my wife and pet whippet. Having recently moved, I am trying my hand at DIY and currently creating new problems to solve.
