From 2002, I was in the army and spent 4 ½ years in the parachute regiment/royal signals. Since then, I’ve had various sales-based roles when in 2017 I became an equity release specialist. I feel these experiences will allow me to have a long and successful career in financial services.
I enjoy getting to know people and my tele-advice role enables me to do that. It helps me better understand my client’s needs, what they hope to achieve from equity release and why. I always put the customer first and enjoy seeing how my advice makes a difference to someone’s life.
Passing my finance exams, CeMAP & CeRER were a big achievement of mine as having never worked in financial services before, it was a big step into the unknown for me. All the hard work and studying definitely paid off, it was a step worth taking and now enjoying my job.
Outside of work I’m a keen fitness enthusiast. I enjoy most things that are sport and fitness related. If I’m not playing football, I’m watching it. I’m also a regular at the gym - mornings or evenings, along with running too. It all helps me keep fit, healthy and mentally strong.
