I began my career in financial services in 2013, providing client facing advice, initially in later life planning relating to Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Since then, I’ve advised on residential mortgages and in 2017 I saw an opportunity to become an equity release specialist, benefitting from previous experience.
I have wanted to be in financial services and stems from my family background where my father was an Independent Financial Adviser. I have always tried to give the advice I would give to a family member and treat my clients the way I would want to be treated.
I have many achievements I’m proud of, the main one being Yorkshire tennis champion at the age of 18 and still holds pride of place on my mantelpiece. In addition, I have a number of credits for best advice in relation to wills and estate planning with my previous employer.
I am an avid sportsman and all round family man. I have, in the last few years, migrated from more active sports of rugby and football, to the more technical and at times, frustrating, art of golf. I am a big fan of music and like to see live bands.
